In addition to 75 gig performances a year, Matt Masters teaches songwriting and Alberta music history to students through the National Music Centre, and moonlights in performance art, film, and radio. Matt is the festival director of the Spaghetti Western Festival in Calgary, described as Western Canada’s alternative and traditional country music festival, and the proud dad of a daughter, Nora.
